A paradigm of elegance and style, Noble House on the Beach is an architectural gem, unique in the Caribbean.

Noble House on the Beach Vacation Rental

Its design is a series of airy pavilions with peaked roofs, its living spaces separated by water gardens and bridges. Indoor spaces flow into outdoor with Oriental grace. Rooms are walled by tall mahogany French doors that open to private porches. Ceiling fans are throughout.

The 600-square-foot main pavilion consists of the Great Room with 56 glass doors and massive wrap-around verandah on floors of gleaming white Jamaican marble. Outside the Great Room, a Japanese footbridge arches over a reflecting pool to the formal dining room. Like the Great Room, the dining room has wrap-around glass doors that open to the mesmerizing panorama of gardens and ocean view. Adjacent are a full bar and powder room.

Meals here merit special attention. The excellent Noble House Chef Jerome brings a strong culinary background to the table, enhanced by artful presentations. In addition to North American, Jamaican and Continental expertise, Jerome is experienced in handling all Kosher requirements. Breakfasts cooked to order are served on the main verandah overlooking the groomed gardens and sea just beyond. Lunches are served by the pool or beach or on the shaded verandah. Dinners for special celebrations can be served in the formal dining room under an elegant crystal chandelier, less formally on the open-air verandah or barefoot at a picnic table on the beach at the water’s edge.

Throughout the villa is a collection of art and antiques gathered by Broadway Billy Rose and later acquired by the original homeowner, the late New York tycoon Sol Atlas ... including a drop-leaf tavern table c. 1700, a hand-carved livery cupboard c. 1640, carvings from Indian temple chariots and a 19th Century grandfather clock.

The sprawling grounds are like both a park and a playing field. The gardens include a wild orchid tree, herb garden, two mango trees, one lime tree and a beautiful breadfruit tree. The wide lawns are home to croquet, badminton and volleyball.

100 yards offshore is Holden's Reef, a continuation of the barrier reef complex that fronts much of Jamaica's north coast. Easily reachable by kayak, this live reef is home to a myriad of tropical fish and corals. At low tide, portions protrude above the water so you can step from your kayak to snorkel in shallow water. On the ocean side, deeper waters beckon the more adventurous or scuba equipped. Two paddle boards also available for additional water sport options.

Noble House shares eight acres on the sea with deluxe neighboring villas Serenity and Tranquillity on the Beach. Combining these 3 homes creates a 15-bedroom compound with 3 pools, 1 tennis court, 1 basketball hoop, long beachfront and staff of 19. This remarkable waterfront trio is a favorite for family reunions. All 3 villas are very private from each other, extremely family friendly and welcome children.

Tryall Club Membership

A significant amenity for guests in this villa is membership at the excellent Tryall Club. On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world. Its 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda and other PGA championship events. The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons. The Tryall tennis club features nine Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pro’s on call. All white attire required.

The beach is well planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar. Work out in the well-equipped gym and compete in the new Usain Bolt Games Room at the Great House (teens love it). Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, Hobie Cat and sunfish are complimentary. Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef and any captained craft attract various fees. Enjoy weekly events like complimentary Manager’s Cocktail Party on Mondays, as well as Beach BBQ and Reggae Night beach parties for an additional fee.

On the hill, enjoy the historic Great House for daily 4:00 tea and sweets. Shop at the convenient commissary and chic boutique, and meet for happy hour and snacks at the casual bar. Also at the Great House is the new Usain Bolt Games Room open all day and night for ping pong, pool, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, chess and checkers, board games, comfy reclining chairs and HDTV. And don’t miss the massive Tryall pool. The Tryall Club is thoughtfully designed to please toddlers, preteens, tweens, moms, dads and everyone from teens to octogenarians.

The house was more beautiful than we imagined. However, we all agree that the staff is what made this vacation so great. We can not say enough about how well we were taken care of. We felt cared for and very safe our entire trip. The food was excellent! We can't wait to go back.

I wanted to thank you for all of your help and support for making our stay at the Noble House one of the best vacations my family and friends have had. The property did not disappoint, it was tranquil and beautiful. And where do I start with the staff!! They were superb!! Their attention to detail was amazing along with all of the little touches that made our stay wonderful. Each and every one of them are to be commended on a job well done. We had some of the best food ever thanks to Jerome!! What a talented young man!! We actually wanted to bring him back to the states with us.  I almost don’t care about the extra pounds gained on this vacation!!

I look forward to working with you in the future to arrange another stay at the Noble House!

This was by far the best vacation we ever had. It exceeded all of our expectations of what this experience would be. All 9 of us agreed we would not change a thing. Everything was perfect. The staff were the most wonderful people we ever met. They couldn't do enough for us. They did become part of our family and we miss them already. And Chef Jerome's food is one meal better than the next. Something as simple as French toast he made out of this world. The best meals we have ever had. We are without a doubt going to go back to the Noble House in the future especially to see our Jamaican family. I already have 2 other families that are looking to book this villa. You will not be disappointed.

Posted by in July 2014

We just returned from our wonderful week at Noble House. None of the descriptions prepared us for this fabulous experience. We have never felt as pampered and cared for as we did this week.

As we were leaving, it felt as if we were leaving a family behind. Rodrick, Jerome, Ionie, Hurga, Vee and the rest of the staff had become friends during our week and it was difficult to leave them. We have already emailed a couple of times to send back pictures and let them know we had arrived home safely. They are wonderful people and do their jobs so well.

There were many highlights from the trip, but I think the food service was probably at the very top. Chef Jerome did an outstanding job of creating beautiful meals for us, even making sure there was something special for the kids every day. The place-settings were always lovely and well thought out. We will all need to lose a few pounds over the coming weeks as we get back to normal eating.

We had a great meal on the beach one evening to celebrate birthdays and our anniversary. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty. Fresh lobster from the local fishermen and great steaks were just a part of the meal. Then the surprise was a beautiful birthday cake to top it off. It was a night to remember!!

Our family always felt secure at the house and on the road with our trusty driver, Benjie. We even got to know the security guards who made rounds to check on everything. And, of course, Rodrick kept a watchful eye on anyone who tried to approach from the beach. He seems to know everyone around the area, so we were able to set up a couple of fishing expeditions for the family with some of the locals, which was much less expensive than a charter fishing trip would have been.

The house staff was so accommodating, as well. Having our laundry just "show up" every day, wrapped in a beautiful cloth, topped with a flower, was the icing on the cake. Knowing that we had that service allowed us to pack lighter than normal. Since we had a baby with us, it really helped his mom keep plenty of clean clothes at all times.

The way the house is laid out was perfect. The pool house really fit our family's needs. My son and his wife and kids used the pool house, and the other adults used the main house. The staff even kept the air conditioning going during the day for the baby's naps.

We used the kayaks and the snorkel gear and the pool quite a bit. They even had lots of toys at the pool for the kids.

As for the other bedrooms and living spaces, we enjoyed them all. What can I say about the master bedroom? It was very lovely and the 2 separate master bathrooms was an added bonus. These were definitely 5-star accommodations, much nicer than we even imagined.

Thanks to you and all of your team for helping to make this one of the most memorable trips our family has ever taken. We all want to go back to Noble House some day.
