Highlights of the French Riviera

Marseille – France’s largest city on the Mediterranean coast. Over 30,000 years old, Marseille is incredible rich in history and culture, yet remains cosmopolitan, vibrant, and hip. Great beaches, architecture, museums, and cultural offerings. Make sure to dine on freshly caught seafood along Vieux-Port, the main harbor of the city.

St. Tropez – The epicenter of celebrities and champagne parties, St. Tropez reaches its peak (in excitement and crowds) in July and August. A regatta is held in the Bay of St. Tropez every year at the end of September, which attracts visitors the world over.

Nice – The capital of the Riviera, which offers superb dining, shopping, and museums. Nice has served as artistic inspiration for decades: Chagall, Matisse, and Arman were all inspired by the gorgeous quality of light.

Monaco – Host of the annual Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most important auto races in the world, which is held in May. The famous Casino de Monte Carlo is a must-see for its old-fashioned glamour and ultra chic ambiance.

Cannes – The height of luxury, Cannes offers designer shops and yachts aplenty. There are also a number of beautiful, free sandy beaches. Host of the annual Cannes Film Festival in May.
