Overview

This is a character property, unique and exceptional, consisting of a XVIIth and XVIIIth Century Castle, probably a hunting lodge originally, built between 1635 and 1707. Hidden in the heart of a park and its Vineyard, in one of the most beautiful sites in the LUBERON.  The property benefits from unrestricted views over the Luberon and neighboring villages.

The Castle, as well as the whole property has been completely restored, ensuring architectural respect.  The XVIIIth century façade has a beautiful alignment of mullioned windows and dressed stone frames. In the center, the carved front door. The living space of the Castle is 1,000 sqm.

It offers spacious volumes and is laid out as follows:

Ground Floor

  • Vast entrance hall and a beautiful staircase with XVIIth century Gypserie, cloakroom with access to the two vaulted cellars in the basement
  • Large kitchen with Feudal fireplace and old Kitchen garden

Villa Notes

There are a lot of pounds on the property, fountains, and a small lake, which can be dangerous for the children. A responsibility discharge will be asked to the guests on arrival. Parents must supervise their children
This breathtaking property is the perfect combination of 17th-Century architecture and 21st-Century comfort nestled in beautiful Italian gardens and surrounded by its own vineyards
It is possible to rent other houses on the same estate: An 18th-Century farmhouse with six bedrooms and its own pool, a self-contained studio guest house (the “Ecuries”), two staff cottages
On site the guardian living in an independent house near the château. The gardener and the wine grower live in 2 separate houses on the limits of the estate
32 hectares of quality producing vines border the grounds of the estate, producing wine
Mobile A/C units are at disposal and can be put in each bedroom on request
